Technical Product Analyst/Business Analyst - Remote

We are building digital platforms to serve our customers! As a Technical Product/Business Analyst, you will be building the next generation of robust platforms that lay the foundation for our title companies! We work across technical functions and with product owners to prioritize building, integrating and maintaining platforms that are important to business operations. As part of this forward-thinking team, you will be contributing to large-scale initiatives that impact multiple product lines and teams across the organization, working closely with Realogy’s technical team which includes Architects, Developers, Quality Assurance, and with partners from Marketing, RTG Operations and Product Management. You should be comfortable breaking down and solving complex problems, communicate in a clear and concise manner; be comfortable in engaging with executives and other key partners to build consensus, define an approach and rationale for prioritization, and communicate project status, findings, and partner concerns on a regular basis.

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with business product owners to facilitate creation and maintenance of product roadmaps and backlogs.

  • Participate in scrum software development team.

  • Act as a liaison between business and technical groups, gathering business requirements, designing business processes, developing high level application designs and partnering with teams on technical specification for delivering new or enhanced software solutions.

  • Gather, Analyze, document and validate the needs of the business.

  • Participate in development efforts from inception to production delivery using an agile methodology.

  • Demonstrate ability to negotiate, plan and prioritize while working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Provide guidance and insight for projects impacting the platforms.

  • Become the authority of your product.

  • Understand the business needs in order to make critical design decisions to guide the development teams.

  • Ability to self-manage workload and participate in multiple scrum software development teams.

What you need to succeed:

  • B.S./B.A. or 5+ years equivalent experience working in an Agile software development environment.

  • Excellent documentation skills including familiarity with requirements techniques such as user stories, use cases, data flows, wireframes and informal modeling.

  • Strong technical knowledge either from academic, engineering, or hands-on product development experience.

  • Ability to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance.

  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.

  • Ability to document system design, create specifications, flow charts, and other related diagrams based on needs.

  • Strong consensus and relationship-building skills, with experience working with partners across different functions of an organization.

  • Ability to craft clear, compelling recommendations supported by strong analysis and business logic, and articulate them to the organization to gain support for recommendations.

  • Experience in working with vendors and offshore teams.

  • PMI-PBA, CSM, CBAP, CSPO Certifications a plus.
