Proposed Job Title:

Senior Specialist, Communications & Content Development

Primary Function:

The ideal candidate will be a communications expert and marketing generalist with exceptional storytelling and project management skills. You will join our growing team and leverage your marketing know-how to develop unique messaging to engage consumers who are ready to begin their home finding and/or home selling journey.

Reporting to the VP, Marketing & Communications with a dotted line reporting to the Manager of Communications & Content Development, our ideal candidate will have next-level writing and editing capabilities; a broad understanding of marketing and communications tactics, including external communications, internal communications, and marketing content creation. We are looking for a candidate who can move quickly, connect the dots, and collaborate with team members of all levels to drive successful marketing communications campaigns.

In this hybrid communications role that sits on a larger marketing team, the candidate should have a broadscale understanding of key communications principals, with a desire to expand their knowledge base to different platforms and channels. Across all the job functions, excellent writing skills and willingness to learn are the most important qualities we are looking for in this candidate.

The primary goals of this role will be:

  • Foster more proactive and effective external communication, that delivers on Realogy Leads Group’s strategic priorities and program success

  • Help improve cross-functional collaboration within Realogy organization with Brands, Corporate Communications and internally within the Realogy Leads Group to drive consistent and organized communications execution

  • Elevate the quality of written materials and content for our programs

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • External Communications

  • Assist in development and execution of communications plans for Realogy Leads Group and its partner programs

  • Identify and pursue media relations opportunities to promote consumer awareness of our real estate benefit programs

  • Develop talking points, briefing materials and prep documents for executive interviews and speaking engagements

  • Ensure alignment with social media team that all relevant program communications are shared as necessary through key channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook etc.)

  • Internal Communications

  • Provide administrative and project management support for internal communications strategies when announcing new programs and key initiatives to stakeholders and employees

  • Coordinate, draft, secure approvals for, and distribute internal communications materials

  • Involvement with planning and execution of quarterly employee town halls and monthly education webinars

  • Maintain the content calendar and draft communications for our network of agents and brokers

  • Content Development

  • Assist in creating and developing relevant written content to reach a targeted consumer base to drive engagement and create program awareness

  • Draftblog content, articles, and other short- and long-form content on behalf of company thought leaders

  • Write and edit program-specific content including agent marketing materials, product one-pagers, video scripts/storyboards, email campaigns, and other marketing content to promote our lead driving programs

  • Oversee and provide guidance to graphic design team on developing materials

Candidates for the Role should have:

  • 3-4 years of professional marketing, communications or writing experience (corporate, agency, freelance, etc.)

  • College degree in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism

  • Outstanding writing skills that span diverse types of content and creative writing styles (marketing copywriting, short-form or long-form)

  • Organized, efficient workstyle with a sense of ownership over any project or task they are assigned

  • Experience liaising with executive leaders

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on a rapidly growing team and organization

  • Flexible, can-do attitude and unafraid to ask questions

  • Product and/or content marketing experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office/365, including Teams, Word, Planner, etc.

  • Ability to work effectively remotely while maintaining a true work-life balance.

NOTE: This position is 100% remote. Our ideal candidate will be based in the tri-state area (NY/NJ/CT); however, we are interested in the “right” candidate who may live in any major US city.

This position can be performed anywhere except Colorado.
