We are looking for a Software Asset Manager for our Technology Asset Management Team reporting to Director of End User Services. We require a dynamic leader who can support multiple business partners while juggling multiple workstreams. The Software Asset Manager responsibilities include ensuring that software meets Realogy's technical needs, renewals are happening per requirements, audit reporting is happening per contract requirements and that Realogy is in compliance with licensing terms. The Software Asset Manager is responsible for the overall implementation, on-going management, and continual improvement of IT Software Asset Management (SAM) best practices within all areas of Realogy. This includes the development of SAM documentation, review of SAM Policy, reporting of KPI's, critical success factors and audit metrics.

Job Requirements

The SAM Manager has experience in IT Asset Management, process analysis, contract reviews/renewals, and SW Audits. You will own the SAM tool from a day-to-day operations process and procedures, all relevant performance data and will support the design/development/creation of metrics, dashboards, and reports related to SAM performance. The SAM Manager will collate data from finance, procurement, operations, sales, capacity planning, and technology to develop analytics that pinpoint opportunities for value creation and expense reduction. Finally, you will monitor and report against key metrics, partner with stakeholders to drive performance improvements, and work cross-functionally to implement needed SAM process changes.

The exciting things you will do:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for all basic and routine activities relating to software and respond to basic service requests on behalf of the Software Asset Management Team.

  • Reviewing and negotiating software license agreements (SLAs), pricing, terms and conditions of sale, and warranties with suppliers working closely with Procurement and Technology Service Delivery Mgmt.

  • Responsible for managing software licensing, handling software renewals upgrade release, key refresh schedules and information relating to software changes.

  • Maintain software licensing documentation including license contracts and publish software related information including certificates, key codes, and other documentation to support internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist with administration of the software budget ensuring all renewals are completed in a timely manner.

  • Work closely with teams to forecast/trend SW usage and assist with SW budget costs.

  • Maintain awareness of ongoing development related to Realogy’s software portfolio to gain knowledge and understanding of changes to versions and licensing agreements, ensuring that all documentation is up to date and stakeholders are kept aware.

  • Utilize Software Assets Management Tools such as Snow/Flexera/ServiceNow to maintain accuracy of software deployments and facilitate compliance across the Realogy software portfolio.

  • Acting as the primary liaison between the Purchasing Services Department and an assigned set of internal departments /customers.

  • Working closely with internal teams to review contracts and terms & conditions in an expedited manner.

  • Assist in support tickets/requests related to licensing questions and concerns.

  • Create monthly reports on SW out of compliance and monthly financial risk reports.

  • Create and implement a SW internal Audit Process.

  • Develop and track SAM KPIs.

  • Work closely with the Service-Now team to keep the SW catalog up to date.

  • Develop communication plans and socialize all licensing-related changes to stakeholders.

  • Efficiently identify and resolve licensing-related issues for internal stakeholders.

  • Adding/updating purchasing policies and procedures as necessary.

  • Coordinate and facilitate detailed tactical and strategic project plans and ensure successful rollouts and timely deliveries of licensing program improvements.

  • BA in Software/Business Administration.

  • Good track record for innovation and measurable process improvements.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

  • 3-5 years’ working experience of managing recurrent software and handling software license renewals/rejections.

  • Expertise in the areas of license management and product deployment best practices.

  • Working experience with software asset management tools such as Snow/Flexera/ServiceNow.

  • Proven experience of effectively working in a customer service environment i.e., end users or stakeholders.

  • Experience in organizing and maintaining software licenses/contracts and other business critical documentation.

  • Strong management and listening skills.

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines & competing workloads.

  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.

  • Self-motivated and proactive with a positive attitude, particularly when identifying service improvements.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Experience in using Office 365 suite of tools, including but not limited to Excel, Teams, Yammer, SharePoint Online, Exchange and OneDrive.

  • Demonstrate accountability, collaboration, and shared responsibility.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and lead presentations and effective meetings.

  • Experience with other O365 products (Power BI) and integration of partner tools, is a plus.
