Job Description:

As the Manager, Business and Industry Communications, you’ll report to the Senior Director, Realogy Business, Technology, and Product (BTP) Communications. In this position, you will help develop and execute compelling internal and external communications strategies for Realogy’s residential real estate franchise business. You will also help position Realogy as a franchise leader in the industry, including managing our role in real estate and business conferences, events, awards, and other thought leadership platforms. You will help bring to life Realogy’s franchise value proposition, including technology, product, and services, with engaging content creation, media relations, and sales and owner communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Senior Director, BTP Communications to support executive internal and external communications for Realogy’s franchise business leaders.

  • Own the Realogy franchise narrative, illustrating the company’s value proposition across our well-known brands and driving message alignment across the broader Realogy organization.

  • Craft compelling content that showcases the Realogy franchise story across internal and external audiences, including franchise sales.

  • Create an integrated external communications strategy that drives results across industry and business media relations, conferences and events, social media engagement, and other tactics, such as byline articles, opinion pieces, and sponsored content, to further position Realogy as a franchising leader.

  • Manage executive thought leadership for Franchise business CEO, including speech and presentation writing, message development, media and event briefings, social media content, and cross-brand franchise owner communications.

  • Drive internal Franchise CEO communications strategy, including town halls, organizational messaging, and other platforms for engaging business unit employees.

  • Support with industry and franchising executive messaging development, such as talk points, media statements, and other communications materials as needed.

  • Serve as communications connector between Realogy corporate communications, product and technology teams, and the Realogy communications network, ensuring alignment and effective tactics across our brands and businesses.

  • Help develop communications plans and lead execution for product, technology, and services launches to inform and engage Realogy’s brand teams and employees, franchise owners, affiliated real estate agents, and the media.

  • Collaborate with franchise functional partners, such as HR, finance, and operations, as well as Realogy primary services and ancillary teams, to develop communications materials and execution plans for the franchise business, as needed.

  • Form and maintain strong relationships with B2B trade media, franchise business journalists, and other industry influencers to promote Realogy’s franchise leadership, including managing awards and recognition list submissions and industry events calendar.

  • Measure and analyze impact of communications content across internal and external channels for effectiveness in driving Realogy’s franchise story, leveraging learnings to enhance strategy and drive results.

  • Stay ahead of the curve with internal and external communications tools, digital innovation, and industry trends to amplify the story.


  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or BA and related experience required.

  • 6+ years of corporate communications or agency equivalent required with a focus on residential real estate or franchising.

  • Proven leadership in managing results-oriented, 360-degree communications strategies, from planning, execution, and measurement.

  • Experience working with speed across a variety of simultaneous projects as a key member of a progressive communications team.

  • Acumen to counsel senior business leaders, including briefings and project planning, with exceptional organizational skills.

  • Success with modern and future-forward communications tactics, such as video, graphics, social media, and other platforms for engaging various audiences.

  • Demonstrated aptitude to work collaboratively with others from diverse backgrounds, cultures and viewpoints.
