IT Depot Manager Job Description

We are looking for an IT Depot Manager for our End User Engineering Team reporting to Director of End User Services. We require a dynamic leader who can support multiple business partners while juggling multiple workstreams. The IT Depot Manager responsibilities include ensuring that we have enough equipment to perform timely onboarding to all Realogy Employees, handle offboarding end user equipment activities, supply all one-off end user HW requests, procure additional end user hardware as needed to perform all duties. The IT Depot Manager is responsible for the overall implementation, on-going management, and continual improvement of the IT Depot best practices within all areas of Realogy. This includes the development of IT Depot documentation, reporting of KPI's, and critical success factors.

Job Requirements

The IT Depot Manager has experience in end user services including workstation imaging, deployment of additional SW applications, peripheral support; procurement of new HW, The ITR Depot manager will also assist in testing and setting end user HW standards for Realogy. You will own the responsibility for running the IT Depot (one location on each coast) from a day-to-day operations process and procedures, all relevant performance data and will support the design/development/creation of metrics, dashboards, and reports related to the IT Depot performance. The IT Depot Manager will collate data from finance, procurement, operations, capacity planning, and technology to develop analytics that pinpoint opportunities for value creation and expense reduction. Finally, you will monitor and report against key metrics, partner with stakeholders to drive performance improvements, and work cross-functionally to implement needed IT Depot process changes.

The exciting things you will do:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for all basic and routine activities relating to the IT Depot

  • Recruiting and mentoring IT Depot technicians

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the depot, and inventory

  • Reviewing inventory and procuring all needed HW and peripherals for Employees

  • Responsible for providing information related to Hardware refresh projects and responsible for overseeing annual refresh of appropriate End User HW

  • Maintain Hardware documentation warranty information within ServiceNow

  • Accurately maintain asset inventory state for the IT Depots at all times.

  • Assist with administration of the End User Hardware budget

  • Work closely with teams to forecast/trend end user HW usage and assist with end user HW budget costs

  • Acting as the primary liaison between the Purchasing Services Department for all end user HW standards and procurement

  • Create monthly reports on end user HW assets that are end of life

  • Create and implement an IT Depot Audit Process

  • Develop and track IT Depot KPIs

Qualifications:

  • BA in Hardware/Business Administration

  • Good track record for innovation and measurable process improvements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management

  • 3-5 years’ working experience of managing recurrent Hardware and handling Hardware license renewals/rejections

  • Working experience end user devices – Windows/MAC imaging

  • Proven experience of effectively working in a customer service environment i.e., end users or stakeholders

  • Strong management and listening skills

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines & competing workloads

  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills

  • Self-motivated and proactive with a positive attitude, particularly when identifying service improvements

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Experience in using Office 365 suite of tools, including but not limited to Excel, Teams, Yammer, SharePoint Online, Exchange and OneDrive.

  • Demonstrate accountability, collaboration, and shared responsibility.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and lead presentations and effective meetings.

  • Experience with other O365 products (Power BI) and integration of partner tools, is a plus.
