Communications Manager, Technology and Product - Remote
As the Manager, Technology and Product Communications, you’ll report to the Senior Director, Realogy Business, Technology, and Product (BTP) Communications. In this position, you will help develop and execute compelling internal and external communications strategies for Realogy’s technology and product teams across the business. You will also help further position Realogy as a technology leader, including managing our role in tech and industry conferences, events, awards, and other thought leadership platforms. You will help bring to life Realogy’s technology vision, including enterprise and brokerage/agent strategies, with engaging content creation, media relations, and stakeholder communications.
Partner with the Senior Director, BTP Communications to support executive internal and external communications for Realogy’s technology and product leaders.
Own the Realogy technology narrative, helping define the company’s enterprise and agent/owner technology strategy and driving message alignment across the broader Realogy organization.
Craft compelling content that showcases the Realogy’s tech and product progress across internal and external audiences, including interpreting messaging for a variety of audiences.
Create an integrated external communications strategy that drives results across industry and technology media relations, conferences and events, social media engagement, and other tactics, such as demos, byline articles, and sponsored content, to further position Realogy as a technology leader.
Manage executive thought leadership for Realogy CTOs and Product Leader, including speech and presentation writing, message development, media and event briefings, and social media content.
Drive internal communications strategy for CTOs, including town halls, organizational messaging, and other platforms for engaging business unit employees. Support Product Leader where needed.
Support with executive messaging development, such as leader talk points, media statements, and other communications materials for our technology and products, as needed.
Serve as technology and product comms expert, collaborating with Realogy corporate communications and enterprise communicators network, ensuring deep understanding of strategic vision and applicability of messaging across audiences.
Collaborate with technology and product teams, including product marketing and go-to-market groups, to craft communications plans in support of product and technology launches and updates, designed to inform and engage Realogy’s brand teams and employees, franchise owners, affiliated real estate agents, and the media.
Support technology and product functional leaders and business partners to develop communications materials and execution plans for the tech and product organizations, as needed.
Form and maintain strong relationships with technology and business media, trade press, and other influencers to promote Realogy’s tech and product leadership, including managing awards and recognition submissions and technology events calendar.
Lead measurement and analytics of communications content across internal and external channels for effectiveness in driving Realogy’s tech and innovation story, leveraging learnings to enhance strategy and drive further results.
Stay ahead of the curve with internal and external communications tools, digital innovation, and industry trends to amplify the story.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or BA and related experience required.
6+ years of technology or product communications or agency equivalent required.
Proven leadership in managing results-oriented, 360-degree communications strategies, from planning to execution and measurement.
Experience working with speed across a variety of simultaneous projects as a key member of a progressive communications team.
Acumen to counsel senior business leaders, including briefings and project planning, with exceptional organizational skills.
Success with modern and future-forward communications tactics, such as video, graphics, social media, and other platforms for engaging various audiences.
Demonstrated aptitude to work collaboratively with others from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and viewpoints.
Capability to think strategically and execute tactically, including flawless execution and strong judgment that delivers outstanding results.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, including press releases, executive communications, byline articles, and other engaging content.
Strong presentation skills, exhibiting a highly professional presence.
Phenomenal organization with demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and adjusting priorities in fast-moving, pressure-driven business environment.
Collaborative leadership skills with demonstrated ability to work creatively as you build and maintain cross-functional relationships while bringing together different teams and projects.
Ability to learn fast, research topics, and translate technology strategy for a variety of audiences.
