Job Description

Overall, schedule and perform risk-based and requested franchisee audits, primarily within an assigned territory. Maintain a schedule that supports a rapidly changing environment, at a minimum coordinating a month out.

• Review Franchise Agreements between Realogy and Franchisees within assigned territory.

• Perform testing to verify that each franchisee follows the terms of their franchise agreement, e.g., provides accurate and complete revenue reporting, as well as meets other key contractual requirements.

• Document all audit findings concisely and in a way that stands “on its own”.

• Review outstanding receivables with the franchisee and attempt to facilitate payment of fees.

• Complete detailed analytical reports summarizing results of audit.

• Submit all audit work papers in an organized and timely fashion.

• Performed special projects, as assigned.

• Job may require travel (approx. up to 20%) for audits that cannot be performed remotely.

Job Requirements:

• BA or BS degree

• Ability to work independently out of your home office

• Accounting background preferred

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; strong proficiency in Excel

• Use of sophisticated excel, data analytics techniques is a strong plus

Must be able to:

• Work in a time-sensitive, goal-oriented environment

• Be flexible in adapting to changing conditions

• Ongoing, provide ideas for enhancing and streamlining existing processes

• Communicate confidentially with cross-functional leadership and peers, and franchisees.

• Thoroughly analyze conditions and reach independent decisions

• Deploy “healthy skepticism” in the testing of the franchisee, validating records as applicable

• Be self-managed, organized, and able to effectively prioritize contending priorities
